At some point in the 18-month long run-up to ES26, we realised that we really wanted to expand beyond just being a one-day event. A night-before show would be great to do – a warm-up of sorts for the ES all-dayer on the Sunday. Which is exactly what we’ve got!

Introducing ELECTRIC SUMMER SESSIONS, an evening event from 5pm on Saturday 28 August 2027, also in Vivary Park, featuring three artists:

After their fantastic ES26 performance (and more than a few outstanding feedback comments we saw about it), we decided to invite HEAVEN 17 back to headline their own show in Vivary Park...and play for longer! They'll be treating us to a 90-minute set blending hits and less familiar tunes from their back catalogue after we've all been superbly warmed up by fellow 80s legend NIK KERSHAW and his band. The evening gets underway courtesy of MONAUX, a local group that comes across "like a female fronted DEVO, or a surfy Human League", and who'll be treating us to a "double synth, theremin and vocoder attack"! WE CAN"T WAIT!
